The space

Guest Room #3 is on the Third Floor of the house. The room is private with it's own electronic lock access. The bathroom on that level is shared with Guest room #2. That room might or might not be occupied at the time of your visit. The room is spacious has lots of closet space and includes a dedicated desk.
This home has ample space for singles, couples, or a group of friends visiting DC for work or pleasure, it has all the amenities you will need for a short or long stay. We are perfectly situated near prime restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and grocery stores. The home’s first floor features a spacious living dining area, half bathroom, Kitchen, (with refrigerator, stove, microwave, cookware, pots and pans as well as plates, bowls, eating utensils, coffee mugs, wine glasses and a Brita filter). In the living room we have modern mid-century furniture, a round glass table for eating and a 50inch Smart TV that can be used to stream the most popular subscription services (guest will need to log in with their own subscription). Finally tucked away in the back of the house is a beautiful deck for morning coffee or evening cup of wine, everything you need for a perfect stay. We are easily accessible to all points of interest, by walking, subway metro, or bus transportation, as well as scooters and capital city bike.
Limited street parking with guest parking pass is available for a small fee of $10/day. Will need to be reserved and paid for 48 hours in advanced of arrival. Please contact us if you’re interested in adding parking to your reservation.
We offer a seamless self-check-in process. We are available by email and text through the APP should you need anything before or during your experience.

The house has keyless entry. Room is private but guest has full access to house main level which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, deck and half bathroom

Other things to note

> Early drop off of bags is allowed as well as the option to store your bags after checkout. (Can be stored on the main level on the left hand side of the TV in the living room.
> The thermostat is controlled remotely. If you need it adjusted up or down just text me through the app.
> At any given time there might be 2-4 other guests in the home at the same time since there are 2 other guess rooms in the house.
> As can be expected of a house this age there are some squeaky floors and stairs.
> The house and the rooms are properly disinfected between stays.
> The main floor is shared space. When using the kitchen please clean up after yourself, don't leave dishes in the sink
> Please don't walk with high heel shoes on the main floor and there is a separate basement apartment below.
> please feel free to enjoy the deck during your visit but under no circumstances leave the door to the deck open or ajar, even when sitting on the deck. The city has a rat problem and we don’t want one entering the house.
>The city offer scooters for rent as well as Capital City Bikes.
> The nearest metro's are Shaw/Howard university (3 blocks) and Dupont Circle metro (6 blocks)
